Crisp Lines, Conscious Execution
For the first project, our client envisioned a clean, sharp perimeter line along the structure. With sleek recessed slating and a cantilevered structure to maneuver the limited space available for post mounting, we successfully expanded the shaded area while bringing an open, inviting element to the design.
To create a tasteful illusion of height, we carefully chose a white slate inlay instead of dark, pairing it with a sleek structural aluminum frame crafted by 4K Aluminum. Backed by a 20-year powder coat warranty, this durable metal is available in five colors to match your unique style preferences and requires minimal maintenance and upkeep – meaning no rotting, cracking, or warping.
With warm golden light slipping through the slated openings, it’s no question why this awning is the perfect outdoor shaded solution for our clients to enjoy for years to come.
Canopy Oasis
Light, airy, soft white canopies create a new and relaxing oasis in our client’s backyard. For this project, we had the pleasure of working with Clint Unander, the project manager of LUA — a local full-service residential building firm. With his outstanding reputation in the Santa Barbara community, we were honored to design and install a pergola for his own home. The goal was to provide shade and UV protection for their outdoor dining and lounge area while allowing natural light to filter through.
The charcoal-colored pergola is constructed of powder-coated aluminum and skillfully mounted to achieve more height for the canopies to stack above the roof line when retracted. To help bring the client's vision to life, we custom-made retractable canopies at our Pampel sew room. These stunning features are made of Phifertex fabric — an easy-to-clean mesh material infused with Microban antimicrobial protection and a calming neutral beige that allows the perfect amount of soft sunlight to shine through.
