Our Custom Upholstery Process
Our upholstery process is a blend of artistry and precision, but ultimately we follow the same strategic process that we use when creating custom awnings and shade solutions. It begins with getting to know our clients and the scope of their project. Whether clients know exactly what they want or just have a general idea, we take the time to discuss the parameters of the project. Oftentimes we will be consulting with a client about an awning or shade solution, and in the process we discover that they’d like to have their furniture reupholstered as well.
We make sure to ask questions to better understand the desired features for your space (shade-wise AND upholstery-wise). We can even send you some preliminary ideas or point you to similar projects we’ve done in the past, giving you some much needed inspiration. From there, we schedule a time to take measurements and nail down the desired look and function of your custom upholstery project.
We go over installation details if applicable, and answer any questions clients have to ensure they know exactly what to expect when the project is complete. Clients always receive estimates and installation timelines - these are typically sent out within 1-3 days of your consultation.
Once the project is complete, we ensure that each of our clients is satisfied and has their expectations met (or exceeded!) We truly believe that we can bring your vision to life with hard work and good communication.
